What happens after death?

Few understand what the Bible really teaches about life beyond the grave.

Maybe death would be different if it were predictable or consistent. But death can be so capricious. It hardly seems fair.

To us life is precious. But death is everywhere! We don't want to die. We don't want to see our loved ones die.

Scientists cannot tell us what happens after death. Too many aspects of life itself are intangible-too elusive to measure and record. Philosophers disagree on death and the afterlife.

Religions also disagree. Traditional Christian denominations generally teach that the souls of the dead live on in a place or condition of heaven or hell. Many non-Christians believe in the transmigration or reincarnation of souls at death. Still others believe the dead will never live again, that this life is all there is.

What really happens at death? Why do we even have to die? Can we know if there is life beyond the grave? Where can we go for meaningful, believable answers?

Malachi 2:16 ESV / 17 helpful votes “For the man who does not love his wife but divorces her, says the Lord, the God of Israel, covers his garment with violence, says the Lord of hosts. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and do not be faithless.”
Matthew 5:32 ESV / 16 helpful votes But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
Matthew 19:9 ESV / 13 helpful votes And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.”

Husband and Wife

1"Love your wife as Christ loved the Church."(Ephesians 5:25) Risk your life to help or save your wife. Christ's love for the church is without limits, nothing is held back. He gave His life for the church - before you loved Him. His love does not depend on your love for Him. Under God's authority - love your wife as service--as giving your life to God.
2"Love your wife in the same way you love your body and your life."(Ephesians 5:28-33) You care for your body daily to be as well fed and healthy as possible. You quickly take care of any needs or desires. Any sexual desire as a husband should be cared for with your wife. In the same way, care for your wife's needs and well being. Feel your wife's pain and illness and rejoice in her health as if it were your own life. A husband must see his wife's sexual desires and make supreme efforts to meet those needs too. Basically, her need or desire whether financial, physical, emotional or spiritual in yo…

Question: "Is the deity of Christ biblical?"

Answer: In addition to Jesus’ specific claims about Himself, His disciples also acknowledged the deity of Christ. They claimed that Jesus had the right to forgive sins—something only God can do—as it is God who is offended by sin (Acts 5:31; Colossians 3:13; Psalm 130:4; Jeremiah 31:34). In close connection with this last claim, Jesus is also said to be the one who will “judge the living and the dead” (2 Timothy 4:1). Thomas cried out to Jesus, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28). Paul calls Jesus “great God and Savior” (Titus 2:13) and points out that prior to His incarnation Jesus existed in the “form of God” (Philippians 2:5-8). God the Father says regarding Jesus: “Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever” (Hebrews 1:8). John states that “in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word [Jesus] was God” (John 1:1). Examples of Scriptures that teach the deity of Christ are many (see Revelation 1:17, 2:8, 22:13; 1 Corinthians 10:4; 1 Peter 2:6-8; Psalm 18:…

The Atomic Power of Prayer

Why do we need to repent, since we are saved by Christ’s grace?

It is true that we owe our salvation entirely to the grace of God. Apostle Paul says in Romans 11, that the remnant of believers in Israel are “chosen by grace”, and Paul himself testifies: “By grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain” (I Corinthians 15:10).
Jesus Christ has saved us from God’s judgment on our sin and internal condemnation, while salvation is only through Christ’s death on the cross, but it is not automatically given to us. For the Holy Scriptures reminds us  that although the God of all grace is the preserver of all men, giving sun and rain to good and bad alike (Matthew 5:45), it is only those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ who experience God’s power to save from sin. Faith is the means by which we make the work of Christ our own, and it is our repentance that guarantees the genuine nature of our faith. It is significant that the keynote of Peter’s first sermon in Acts is repentance:
Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the n…

Be Open to the Holy Spirit

Be Open to the Holy Spirit.  Be sensitive to the work of the Holy Spirit. Witness through the Spirit's Power!!!!

One of the great privileges we have as children of God is having the Holy Spirit as our Teacher. Jesus said, "I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever, The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you (John 14:16-170

The word "another" is the declaration that the "Helper" is like Jesus. Jesus was known as the Teacher (Mtt 8:19). He called His Disciples to walk with Him (Mark 1:17,20 2:14). When the disciples did not understand something, He said, "To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God ".

The Holy Spirit is on the mission to reveal God's Word to believers. He is an intimate friend who is closer than a brother. He calls us to follow Him as He leads u…

Nikipanda juu mbinguni, huko uko; nikifanya malazi yangu kuzimu, tazama uk…

What will happen to those who die without hearing anything of Christ Jesus?

The Holy Bible makes it conspicuous and crystal clear that while there are might be people in the world who may not have heard of Christ Jesus, simultaneously, none of them can plead ignorance of God their Creator.
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork” (Psalm 19:1, KJV).
Ever since the creation of the world his invisible nature, namely, his eternal power and deity, has been clearly perceived in the things that have been made” (Romans 1:20)
Wherefore, the order, regularity and natural laws of the universe are the permanent veracity and impeccable airtight testimony of the Invisible God, the Creator of all things, of which all people are instinctively aware. As a consequence, we find among the most ignorant peoples on the earth a desire to worship God, even though it may be in a perverted form.
The Holy Scriptures declared that there is life after death and future judgment upon all living souls, in the same token, the infallible teaching tells us t…

Did Jesus speak in tongues?

No doubt, that is a question that has been asked by millions ofChristiansthroughout the centuries, and we believe that knowing the answer is vital for maximizing the quality of one's life as a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I believe that Jesus spoke in tongues.  Here is why I believe this way: It is inevitable that a person who is baptized in the Spirit not to speak in tongues. John the Baptist himself said, "I indeed baptize you with water ....But He (Jesus) will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire."(Matt 3:11). What fire was John the Baptist speaking about, he was speaking about the "...divided tongues [or tongues as of fire, distributed and resting on each], as of fire." (Acts 2:3).
Some of the disciples who were with John before joining Jesus were taught methods of prayer to God by John the Baptist. So, when they saw Jesus praying continuously, He spoke in tongues and they too deserved it. You may ask how do you know? In Luke 11:1, Jesus was prayin…
